This is our lovely new apartment in the beautiful resort of Praia da Luz, close to Lagos. You can get here by taxi or hire car in approximately 1 hour from Faro airport, to which most of the budget airlines now fly. The drive is absolutely straightforward and detailed directions will of course be provided. Once here you have all of the many amenities of Luz and nearby Lagos at your disposal. The excellent blue flag beach of Luz bay is a mere 5 minutes walk away, whilst dramatic cliff top walks literally start from your doorstep. The Algarve is renowned for its fantastic beaches, and those here in Western Algarve are surely the finest you will find. The complex is a newly built low rise development of only 100 apartments. There will be 4 pools, 2 of which are designed for children, as well as an indoor heated pool and gym. However, as the site is due for completion in early 2007, there are currently 2 pools in use. Please enquire about current development. We have set the prices substantially lower than normal to reflect the situation. The pools are set in magnificently landcaped gardens, with large decked sunbathing areas,pool showers and toilets. There is a lovely childrens play area and minimarket on site. There are a number of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars within walking distance, the centre of Luz is only five minutes away by foot. The lively Portuguese town of Lagos, a 5 minutes drive away, offers a wider variety of amenities. Many find Lagos the most likeable town on the Algarve. It's lively but a bit laid back. Portuguese culture and way of life is evident everywhere. Sit back in one of the many streetside restaurants and simply while away the day - Mediterranean style. The apartment is furnished with high quaility furniture and has a good sized lounge, kitchen with breakfast bar, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is a king size bed in one of the bedrooms and the 2nd bedroom has twin bed with a 3rd single stowed under. A cot and high chair is available at no extra cost if required. From one of the balconies you can sit and watch the sea and mountains, and from the second balcony you can keep an eye on the kids in the pool.
